Pastries

Our delicious pastries include both the fancy and the more traditional. Among the latter are our fudgy brownies, caramel blondies, and date or lemon squares. Of course, we also have all-butter butter tarts and traditional British favourites such as Eccles cakes and fern tarts. Try any of our seasonal fresh fruit pies – “neighbourhood” rhubarb, wild northern blueberry and Niagara peach are real favourites!

Fancy pastries include éclairs with real whipped cream and fudgy icing, exquisite petit fours, and vanilla or lemon slices made with delicate puff pastry.

Cookies

We bake a variety of classic old-fashioned cookies everyday, including chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, double chocolate, and ginger molasses. As the seasons change, so do the variety of special cookies, such as gingerbread, rugulah, and icebox cookies.

You'll always find our Belgian (or Empire) cookies in three sizes. Hamiltonians in the know say these are the best in the city.

Macarons

Parisian macarons come in a variety of colours and flavours and can be custom-baked in the flavour and size of your choosing.

Meat pies & tourtière

We always have on hand ground beef pies, turkey pot pies (all white meat!), and steak & potato pies. All are made from scratch in the bakery using only quality Dearsley's Meats (near Copetown).

Daily, we have ham & cheese, feta & spinach, and veggie quiches in individual servings. We can also bake larger sizes for you on request.

Tourtiere is our perennial holiday season tradition at Weil's. It's made with lean ground beef and pork (I won't cook baby cows!) and our secret and authentic blend of seasoning. We now also make turkey tourtiere for those who don't eat red meat!  Tourtieres always sell out so be sure to order yours early. Let us know if you would like it fresh-baked or frozen to bake at home!
